Position Overview

The Sr. SQAE - Functional Tester is a senior individual contributor responsible for executing testing activities across core lending systems with strong focus on Kastle platform and integrated systems. 

The role involves hands-on validation of lending workflows, transaction processing, integrations, and data consistency, ensuring high-quality releases aligned with business and regulatory requirements. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Execute functional testing across core lending modules and Kastle platform 
• Prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data based on requirements 
• Validate end-to-end lending workflows across: 
  • Personal Finance 
  • SME Financing 
  • Islamic Banking 
  • Credit Cards 
  • Auto Lease 
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing 
• Validate integration systems and API-based workflows 
• Perform data migration validation and reconciliation checks 
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects with proper evidence 
• Participate in defect triage and support resolution cycles 
• Perform API testing and service validation 
• Conduct database validation for data accuracy and consistency 
• Support SIT and UAT cycles 
• Maintain test documentation and execution records 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for issue resolution 
• Use AI tools for test case design, requirement review, and reporting 
• Ensure adherence to QA standards and STLC practices

 Experience 

• 6+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance / Testing 
• Strong experience in functional, regression, and integration testing 
• Mandatory: Hands-on experience in Core Lending Systems 
• Mandatory: Hands-on experience with Kastle platform 
• Strong domain understanding of: 
  • Personal Finance 
  • SME Financing 
  • Islamic Banking 
  • Credit Cards 
  • Auto Lease 
• Experience in integration systems and API testing 
• Experience in data migration validation and reconciliation 
• Experience supporting SIT, UAT, and release cycles 
• Experience working in Agile or Hybrid environments

Certifications 

• ISTQB Foundation Level (preferred)
