Position Summary: 

The Project Manager is a senior delivery role responsible for leading end-to-end execution of complex banking and fintech initiatives within a regulated financial services environment. The role operates in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder setup and requires strong ownership of delivery across core banking, lending, and digital/fintech programs. 

The Project Manager acts as the primary owner of project delivery, accountable for scope, timelines, budget, quality, and stakeholder alignment. The role involves close coordination with business leaders, IT teams, vendors, and regulatory stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of high-impact banking programs in line with organizational strategy and local compliance requirements in KSA. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Own end-to-end project delivery from initiation through closure. 

Act as the primary point of accountability and escalation for assigned projects. 

Define project scope, objectives, milestones, dependencies, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders. 

Develop and manage detailed project plans covering timelines, resources, risks, and budgets. 

Govern delivery execution to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within approved budgets. 

Lead cross-functional teams including Business, Technology, QA, Infrastructure, and Vendors. 

Manage internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, expectation alignment, and timely decision-making. 

Conduct regular project status meetings, steering committee sessions, and executive updates. 

Identify, track, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate proactively where required. 

Oversee vendor and third-party delivery, ensuring contractual commitments and quality standards are met. 

Ensure compliance with banking regulations, internal governance frameworks, and security standards. 

Maintain complete project documentation including charters, schedules, status reports, risk logs, and closure reports. 

Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and applying best practices across initiatives.

Experience: 

Minimum 10 years of overall professional experience. 

At least 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Project Manager delivering technology or business transformation initiatives. 

Mandatory experience delivering projects within the banking and financial services domain

Strong exposure to Core Banking systems, Lending platforms, and Fintech / Digital Banking solutions

Proven experience managing large, complex, multi-vendor projects in regulated environments. 

Experience working with senior business stakeholders, IT leadership, and external partners. 

Prior on-site project delivery experience in KSA or the Middle East region is preferred. 

Experience working with Agile, Hybrid, and Waterfall delivery models. 

Technical skills: 

Strong knowledge of project management frameworks and delivery governance (PMBOK, Agile, Hybrid). 

Solid understanding of Core Banking architectures, lending workflows, and fintech integrations. 

Experience managing digital transformation initiatives, API integrations, and enterprise platforms. 

Proficiency with project management and tracking tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Azure DevOps). 

Familiarity with regulatory, compliance, and security considerations in banking environments. 

Certifications: 

PMP (Project Management Professional) – Mandatory. 

PRINCE2 Practitioner / Agile certifications – a plus. 

Banking or fintech-related certifications – a plus.
