About the Role:

The Sr. SQAE is a senior individual contributor role responsible for managed testing activities across mobile and enterprise applications within a multi-system environment, including mobile applications, core business systems, CRM platforms, and workflow-driven BPM solutions. The role operates within a fast-paced, client-driven setup and focuses on test strategy and test plan preparation, scenario design, test case and test script development, and end-to-end validation across integrated platforms.

The role is responsible for supporting structured test preparation and execution across multiple interconnected systems and parallel release cycles. It contributes to release readiness through accurate test documentation, effective coordination with cross-functional teams, and adherence to organizational quality standards, compliance requirements, and delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare test strategy, test plan, and test preparation activities for assigned modules, releases, and testing cycles. 
• Develop high-level and low-level test scenarios based on business, functional, and system requirements. 
• Create and maintain test cases, test scripts, test data, and test results for assigned applications. 
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing across mobile, CRM, BPM, and enterprise platforms. 
• Coordinate testing activities across multiple interconnected systems to ensure end-to-end workflow validation. 
• Support testing in parallel release cycles, ensuring proper regression coverage and release readiness across impacted systems.
• Review test cases and test scripts to ensure completeness, traceability, and coverage against requirements. 
• Identify, log, analyze, track, and retest defects in coordination with development and business teams. 
• Validate defect fixes and support closure through structured retesting and result documentation. 
• Participate in requirement walkthroughs, sprint ceremonies, defect triage sessions, and release validation activities. 
• Maintain test documentation, defect records, and execution evidence across assigned work items. 
• Highlight testing risks, blockers, open defects, and coverage gaps in a timely manner. 
• Support non-functional testing activities, including performance & automation testing, where required. 
• Follow organizational quality standards, compliance requirements, and delivery timelines within a client-facing testing setup.

Experience:

• 5-7 years of overall experience in Software Quality Assurance
• Proven track record in testing enterprise-level systems, including CRM (MS Dynamics) and integrated core platforms
• Previous experience in a Managed Testing Services (MTS) setup or leading test preparation for large-scale applications
• Working knowledge of database validation and data verification techniques
• Experience working in Agile, Scrum, Hybrid, or project-based environments.
• Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams during test cycles and release
• Exposure to performance & automation testing activities is an added advantage

Technical skills:

• Strong understanding of STLC, defect lifecycle, and structured test execution practices. 
• Strong hands-on experience in Manual, Functional, Regression, Integration, and API testing
• Proficiency in API validation and database testing (SQL) to ensure data integrity and workflow accuracy
• Experience with test and defect management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar tools
• Experience working on CRM, BPM, or integrated enterprise platforms is preferred
• Experience testing mobile applications across different environments and localized versions (English/Arabic)

Certifications:

• ISTQB Foundation Level (CTFL) – preferred.
• ISTQB Agile Tester or equivalent Agile testing certification – good to have.
• ISTQB Test Automation Engineer – good to have
