Role Overview – Senior Developer (AI-Driven QA Ecosystem)
We are seeking a Senior Developer to lead the transformation of Kualitee’s testing infrastructure into an AI-native, autonomous QA ecosystem. This role centers on architecting an intelligent pipeline that leverages LLMs (Google Gemini) and AWS cloud services to automate test design, execution, and maintenance.
The ideal candidate will drive the shift from traditional automation toward a self-healing, context-aware, and scalable testing framework, tightly integrated with Kualitee and powered by advanced AI capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
1. AI Strategy & Integration
- Design and maintain integration between Gemini (Pro/Flash) and Kualitee
- Automate generation of test cases from requirements, UI screenshots, and user stories
- Engineer structured prompts and workflows for consistent AI outputs
2. Autonomous Test Execution
- Build AWS-native execution pipelines using Lambda, Fargate, or EC2
- Enable trigger-based test runs via Kualitee’s AI assistant (Hootie)
- Ensure scalability and reliability of execution environments
3. Self-Healing Test Frameworks
- Develop intelligent scripts that detect UI/DOM changes
- Implement AI-driven failure analysis and auto-correction mechanisms
- Continuously improve test resilience and reduce manual maintenance
4. RAG & Context-Aware Testing
- Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines
- Integrate AWS services (Bedrock, Kendra, S3) for contextual data ingestion
- Enhance test accuracy using project-specific documentation and history
5. API & Workflow Orchestration
- Integrate with Kualitee REST APIs for test syncing and defect tracking
- Automate test lifecycle management and reporting
- Build pipelines for real-time analytics and feedback loops
6. Performance & Cost Optimization
- Optimize Gemini API usage (latency, token consumption, cost)
- Manage AWS resource efficiency and scalability
- Monitor system performance and continuously refine architecture
Must-Have Skills
AI / LLM Engineering
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (Gemini preferred)
- Strong expertise in prompt engineering and structured outputs (JSON/function calling)
- Experience building AI-driven automation workflows
Cloud (AWS)
- Strong command of AWS Lambda, S3, IAM, Step Functions
- Experience designing scalable, event-driven architectures
- Familiarity with Bedrock is a strong advantage
Automation Testing
- Expert in Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
- Deep understanding of test architecture and automation best practices
- Experience integrating automation frameworks with AI models
Programming
- Advanced proficiency in Python and/or Node.js
- Ability to build production-grade, scalable systems
DevOps / CI-CD
- Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline
- Understanding of automated deployment and testing pipelines
