Junior Information Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities
Incident Management:
- Provide Level 2 incident management support as required.
- Follow up with custodians to ensure timely closure of incidents.
- Co-ordinate with SOC team to resolve incidents and perform weekly cadence calls.
- Understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems.
IT Security Reviews:
- Conduct IT security reviews and other security assessments on a monthly basis or as directed by the line manager.
Information Security Compliance:
- Preserve the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information processed and handled by the organization.
- Adhere to all information security policies, processes, and programs.
- Report any security breaches or incidents to information.security.
Required Skills & Experience
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or Information Security.
Experience:
- 2-3 years’ experience in IT security and incident management
Other Requirements:
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work with internal teams (Client Staff, IT Team, SOC Team) and external vendors.
- Demonstrated agility, problem-solving, and customer focus.
