Position Summary

The Senior Product Motion Designer (SaaS & YouTube Expert) is responsible for creating high-impact, product-led motion content that drives audience engagement and conversion on YouTube. This role blends advanced motion design, product positioning, and YouTube retention strategy to transform complex SaaS features into visually compelling “aha” moments. The designer will elevate raw product interfaces into cinematic, high-fidelity visuals that communicate value quickly, clearly, and memorably, while supporting channel growth and lead generation objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and produce high-end product demos and explainer videos that clearly articulate feature functionality and business value within concise timeframes.
• Transform complex SaaS workflows into engaging visual narratives using motion, abstraction, and UI glamorization techniques.
• Optimize video content for YouTube retention by applying dynamic pacing, pattern interrupts, kinetic typography, and sound design.
• Recreate and abstract product UI in Figma or Illustrator to produce clean, vector-sharp assets suitable for 4K motion output.
• Develop visual metaphors and abstract animations to represent intangible concepts such as APIs, integrations, performance, and security.
• Apply “time-to-value” principles to ensure videos reach key messages quickly and effectively.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and content teams from script development through final publishing.
• Support YouTube channel growth as a lead generation engine through SEO awareness, experimentation, and A/B testing.
• Manage the end-to-end motion design workflow, ensuring quality, consistency, and timely delivery.

• Adobe After Effects (Expert Level), with advanced proficiency in the Graph Editor, easing, and motion physics.
• Strong command of Figma and/or Adobe Illustrator for UI recreation, abstraction, and asset preparation.
• Expertise in modern motion design aesthetics, including glassmorphism, neon accents, dark/light mode design, and cinematic UI animations.
• Advanced understanding of YouTube-style editing, including dynamic zooms, kinetic text, impact SFX, and retention-driven transitions.
• Experience producing high-resolution (4K) motion assets with vector precision.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted tools such as Midjourney and Runway for background, texture, and asset generation.
• Solid grasp of pacing, sound design, and visual rhythm for high-retention video content.
