Overview
We are looking for a Test Automation Developer with strong hands-on expertise in building and executing automation solutions across Web, Mobile, API, and Database layers. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks to ensure high-quality product releases.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks supporting Web (Selenium), Mobile (Appium), API (RestAssured), and Database validations.
Implement data-driven and keyword-driven automation approaches with reusable components and utilities.
Work closely with developers, QA, and business teams to define automation scope, improve test coverage, and optimize execution time.
Perform database-level assertions and validation of backend processes.
Generate detailed test execution reports and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
Continuously enhance automation strategies in alignment with evolving product requirements and technologies.
Required Skills & Experience
At least 7 years of Testing experience.
Strong programming skills in Java (preferred) with solid understanding of OOPs concepts.
Proven experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, RestAssured, TestNG/JUnit.
Hands-on experience with Excel/CSV or external data handling for test data management.
Hands-on experience on automation script execution and log analysis experience.
Knowledge of SQL for database testing and backend validations.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
Experience with reporting tools (ExtentReports, Allure, etc.).
Good understanding of microservices-based architecture and API testing practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good to Have
Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, LambdaTest).
Knowledge of environment configuration using .env files or similar approaches.
Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Serenity) is a plus.
